How to make the perfect Christmas Day snack:
Ingredients
1 bag of large pretzel rods
2 cups of semi-sweet, milk, or white chocolate chips
Assorted Christmas-themed sprinkles
Crushed candy canes (optional)
Instructions
Melt the Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth and fully melted.
Prepare the Dipping Station:
Lay out a sheet of parchment paper on a flat surface.
Place your sprinkles and crushed candy canes in shallow bowls.
Dip the Pretzels:
Dip each pretzel rod into the melted chocolate, covering about half of the pretzel.
Let the excess chocolate drip off.
Decorate:
Roll the chocolate-dipped end of the pretzel in the sprinkles or crushed candy canes, or you can sprinkle them on top for a more controlled design.
Lay the pretzels on the parchment paper to set.
Set the Chocolate:
Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature, or for quicker setting, place the pretzels in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
