These Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Garlic are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with savory flavor. Tossed in olive oil and minced garlic and perfectly seasoned, they’re roasted until golden brown. A simple, healthy side dish perfect for any meal!
Ingredients
1 pound of Brussels Sprouts
4 to 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan
5 cloves garlic, peeled
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Instructions
Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Trim the bottom of the Brussels sprouts and slice each in half, top to bottom. Heat oil in a cast-iron pan over medium-high heat until it shimmers; put the sprouts cut side down in one layer in the pan. Add garlic and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cook, undisturbed, until sprouts begin to brown on the bottom, then transfer to the oven. Roast, shaking the pan every 5 minutes, until sprouts are quite brown and tender, about 10 to 20 minutes.
Taste, and add more salt and pepper if necessary. Stir in balsamic vinegar, and serve hot or warm.
